This early encounter sparked her passion for the plant, which deepened during her studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and California State University, Bakersfield, where she focused on History and Psychology.
Inspired by her uncle's Parkinson’s diagnosis, Alyssa researched cannabis as an alternative medicine and became a medical patient in 2013 to manage her anxiety and chronic pain.

In 2015, while balancing her studies while working in the industry, she gained invaluable experience in the medical cannabis space. It was here she learned the importance of a holistic approach to healing. Through her work, she discovered the powerful synergy between cannabis and yoga, which helped her heal both physically and spiritually. In the same year, she further expanded her skills by becoming a reiki master, which deepened her understanding of energy healing and the connection between cannabis and spirituality.
